Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the person named in the imprint. Please refer to the imprint for the full contact details.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) via the “Cloudflare Pages” service. On our behalf, Cloudflare processes data that arise technically when the website is accessed (see server log files). The basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of our online offer (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Cloudflare. Insofar as data is transferred to the USA in the process, this takes place on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. Server log files

When this website is accessed, information that your browser transmits is automatically recorded. This includes in particular: IP address, date and time of the request, the page or file accessed, referrer URL as well as details about your browser and operating system. This data serves the technical provision, security and stability of the website and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

4. Contact and booking form

When you send us an enquiry via the booking/contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, message as well as optional details such as company, event, location and date) in order to handle and respond to your enquiry. The information is forwarded exclusively as an email to our inbox and is not stored in a database on the server. The technical delivery of the email is carried out via Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Email Sending) acting as a processor. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) as well as our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

5. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect the form against abusive automated use (bots), we use “Cloudflare Turnstile” from Cloudflare, Inc. Turnstile checks whether an input is made by a human and processes technical information (including IP address and browser details) without setting tracking cookies. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in defending against spam and abuse (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

6. Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

Where activated, we use “Cloudflare Web Analytics” for anonymous, aggregated analytics. This service works without cookies and without recognising individual visitors across multiple websites. Only aggregated technical metrics (e.g. pages accessed, referrer, approximate origin, device type) are collected; no user profile relating to you is created. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation and improvement of our offer (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

7. Embedded content (SoundCloud)

On the “Mixes” page we embed players from SoundCloud (SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG, Rheinsberger Str. 76/77, 10115 Berlin, Germany) so that sets can be listened to directly. When such a player is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to SoundCloud, and SoundCloud may set its own cookies. We have no influence over this processing; the privacy policy of SoundCloud applies (soundcloud.com/pages/privacy). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our music (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Links to Instagram, TikTok and SoundCloud are mere references; only by clicking them are you redirected to the respective provider.

8. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking purposes. Technically necessary cookies may be set as part of spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) or by embedded third-party content (SoundCloud).

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

10. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
